As I drove on Thanksgiving

I caught glimpse of one that stuck in my mind

an old man called to me
He told me about the skull in his care
and the gifts it receives
"This skull belonged to a satanic beast
Who preyed on the village he was cast out
They killed him and his soul resides in this skull
A gift of money will reduce your problems to null"

The old man died after I left the skull's gift

The grin of the devil showing as I take it away
The skull now in my possession
